The project scope of work includes providing auxiliary lanes and traffic signals at the intersections of both Alpine Road and Boyce Road with Washington Pike. This will include left turn lanes on Washington Pike at both Boyce and Alpine Roads, as well as a left turn lane on the Boyce Road approach to Washington Pike. The project will also include updating roadway features to meet current design/safety standards as well as drainage and guiderail updates/upgrades, signing, lighting, and pavement markings.

The project is tentatively slated to start construction in 2027.

Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) Engineering District 11 and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) are pleased to invite you to attend an Open House Public Informational Meeting to discuss the Route 3003, Section A11 Washington Pike at Boyce and Alpine Roads Intersection Improvement project. The meeting will be held on January 28, 2025 from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM with a presentation beginning at 5:45 PM.

For those unable to attend, public meeting materials will be posted to this website following the public meeting along with a comment form to gather feedback.
